FieldFire guide
FieldFire Spark Audio Setup Checklist
Check the baseball or softball speaker, analog or Bluetooth route, internet, power, GameChanger, Spotify, and operator position before game day.
Spark controls batter walk-ups and game-day hype through the audio already at the field. Use this checklist to prove the entire path before ordering or before the first live game.
Speaker and output
- Identify the powered speaker, mixer, amplifier, or PA used for game-day audio.
- Choose the reviewed Spark output: onboard analog or the exact connected Bluetooth A2DP speaker.
- Bring the required analog cable or adapter when using a mixer or PA.
- Test from the operator position at a safe game-day volume.
- Confirm the operator can stop audio immediately.
Spark does not include a speaker, amplifier, mixer, music subscription, or music license.
Network and connected services
- Confirm local network access for the operator’s phone, tablet, or laptop.
- Confirm internet where Spark will run if the team uses Spotify or GameChanger.
- Authorize the correct Spotify Premium account through FieldFire.
- Sign in to the team’s GameChanger account and verify the expected live game is visible.
- Keep reviewed local audio available when internet reliability is uncertain.
Roster and walk-ups
- Import or create the baseball or softball team.
- Verify every player’s number.
- Assign the local or Spotify song.
- Set the start point and supported clip length.
- Preview the complete number-plus-song cue.
- Open Walk-Up Game Mode and verify the lineup order.
Automatic and manual hype
- Enable only the reviewed automatic categories the team wants.
- Confirm Your team during Start Game so offense and defense moments follow the right side.
- Trigger one manual cue from the Hype Deck.
- Confirm automatic and manual audio use the same physical output route.
- Verify stop, fade, and fallback behavior.
Optional browser scoreboard
If the field or broadcast wants visuals, test the optional browser scoreboard separately. It can be opened in a browser, embedded or captured by broadcast software, or shown on a browser-capable venue display. Display hardware is not required for Spark’s audio-first game-day workflow.
